Mid-Episode Recap – Select Death’s Game Episode 2: “The Reason You’re Going to Hell”
In this episode, Yi-jae inhabits the body of Kwon Hyeok-su, a high school student relentlessly bullied by Lee Jin-sang. Determined to survive, Yi-jae uses Hyeok-su’s experiences to confront the bullies. He successfully turns Jin-sang into an outcast, but the relief is short-lived. Jin-sang, seeking revenge, attacks Hyeok-su with a brick, leading to Yi-jae’s death. Upon returning to the afterlife, Yi-jae confronts Death, questioning the fairness of the punishment. Death reminds him that his actions have consequences, and without understanding his sin, he cannot escape hell.
