In this gripping opening episode, we meet Choi Yi-jae, a man who has been tirelessly job hunting for seven years without success. Overwhelmed by despair and financial ruin, he decides to end his life. However, instead of finding peace, Yi-jae awakens in the body of Park Jin-tae, a chaebol heir. He encounters a mysterious entity known as Death, who reveals that Yi-jae’s suicide was premature and that he must now face the consequences. Yi-jae is given a chance to survive by preventing the imminent death of the person he inhabits. If he succeeds, he can continue living; if he fails, he will die again. This sets the stage for a high-stakes journey through multiple lives, each with its own challenges and moral dilemmas.
