In a twist, Chairwoman Han attempts to sabotage Jungjae by monopolizing the local chicken supply. However, the Jungjae team, led by Chef Myeong-sook, perseveres, using frozen chicken and a secret sauce to create a standout dish. Their resilience pays off when the Diamant Guide awards Jungjae its own three stars, leveling the playing field.

Meanwhile, Yeon-joo, recovering from her heartbreak, returns to Jungjae, inspired by a visit to a temple and a conversation with the head monk. She confronts Beom-woo and his mother, challenging them to play fair if they truly want the cook-off. Her determination and authenticity shine through, solidifying her place in the culinary world.
